Studio practice and banner globe

This idea is a sphere shape made out of cardboard and banner material The banners are like accosted plastic I’ve used and found amongst the collection of banners I have from Kwug
Repurposing them into a sculpture
Possibly to add to the film or sit elesewhere
Idea is about protest and redundant banners Sphere is the world The frame is cage

Working with cardboard, traditionally used as improptu banners, old KUWG banners, varnish, a yoga ball, staples
After hardening the card with the varnish and letting to dry on a line in my studi space, then constructing a sphere around the yoga ball. Left to dry for 24hrs and then ball deflated and taken out of the inside. Then continue to construct a sphere shape with the strips of banners using staples to secure them to the main card frame by using a weaving method.
