Going back to Luton...Pop up theatre focusing on Exodus Collective
A play in Luton, 6th Form pupils adressed the events that were propegated in Marsh Farm Estate, Luton, after the wrongful arrest of a local man in the early 90's, from the riots, came the dances and Exodus Collective, that I was part of throughout the 90s was the hub of those events. The play was a visual reminder of the struggles faced by tenants of Marsh Farm.. Revisiting what shaped me socially and politically by seeing the play, reminded me of how far we as a nation have come or not as the case may be.
