Northern Ireland Troubles featured at Tate exhibition Conflict, Time, Photography
What intersted me looking at this exhibition last year was the an installation by artists Adam Broomberg and Oliver Chanarin, People In Trouble Laughing Pushed To The Ground
I not only like the title, but also the tongue in cheek message. The detail of the photos were emphasised due to the installation consisting of small images. The catalogue style of exhibiting certainly interests myself as I gather more documents and details of KUWG and every day images.
There is something that rivets the viewer looking at images that are at the heart of politics, whether they are positive or negative. For me, looking at the images, I sense this anthropological thinking that exists within the artists work. Something that I find myself dipping into as part of my research of my world and the wider.
