KUWG Tshirts
We came up with the idea of using the KUWG logo on plain white tshirts for the group leafleting sessions, protests etc.
the tshirts were agreed on at a few meetings but like many things, once they are finished people soon have things to add as to how they can be improved.. That's fine but to be truthful, as an artist, knowing that I have consulted and asked for the design to be approved by a group, it is annoying when the design is then criticised after printing. Everyone had an oppurtunity to give their creative input and many did and then everything is voted on at meetings, yet when people are not always at the meetings but they wish this or that after the product is finalised that can be very disappointing. I welcome ideas and input. For me, my job was to clean up the logo and use Illustrator to do this ready to print on to transfer sheets that are heated and transfered onto plain white tshirts. I still think this is a success as the tshirts cost the group £5 all in and we had around 15 of them which we sold at £10 each... We are now working on the next design and hopefully we shall ALL be happy with this one.
